Samut Sakhon Leads with the Highest Number of Industrial Factories in October 2024
The Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry, has released the latest statistics on the number of industrial factories that received licenses nationwide in October 2024. A total of 171 factories were granted licenses, with a combined investment of 27,432.56 million baht. Samut Sakhon province led the pack with 26 new factory licenses and a total investment of 973.81 million baht.
Top 3 Provinces with the Most Factory Licenses in October 2024
1) Samut Sakhon: 26 licenses, 973.81 million baht in investments, 687 new jobs, 12,504.31 horsepower in machinery.
2) Chonburi: 25 licenses, 2,739.89 million baht in investments, 991 new jobs, 13,560.32 horsepower in machinery
3) Phathum Thani: 19 licenses, 1,118.94 million baht in investments, 716 new jobs, 7,804.81 horsepower in machinery
When comparing the provinces with the highest increase in industrial investment, Roi Et topped the list with a total investment of 12,132.00 million baht, followed by Ayutthaya with 6,551.80 million baht, and Chonburi with 2,739.89 million baht.
